We have lived in Traverse City, MI for five years. When we moved here, my husband mentioned that he would like to open a fish taco stand in Traverse City. It was one of those days that was sunny and we were riding our bikes on the Tart Trail. I smiled and mumbled how much fun that would be to open a fish stand.
Flash Forward, the phone rings late night. Its the Fisherman on a phone calling from The Bering Sea. "honey, we are opening a fish distribution business in Traverse City!" He than proceeded to discuss his vision and of course I said "alrighty". "I"m The Fisherman, and you can be the "Fishmonger"!
Now, I am proud to announce that we are set to open up our "Alaskan Premium Seafoods, LLC" Wholesale Alaskan Fish Distribution. We will serve Northern Michgan Food Establishments by supplying them with high quality fish.
All I can say is that the Traverse City Food Folks are some of the most wonderful, accomadating and supportive people you would ever want to have on your side when going into a new adventure such as this during an economic downfall...But support is what we have gotten from all the Chefs we have meet. Boy, it sure is nice to be in a community that wants to propel you forward towards success rather than doubt you will ever get up and moving.
This blog will be about the latest inventory and how we are establishing our company. We are looking to open up to the General Public but first we are aiming to supply our Chefs with Great Fish and Customer Service.
